Hi,

We're so glad you've come to Fungi Spells. We are two mushroom pickers, Indrė and Giedrė. In addition to being mushroom pickers, we are also sisters and mushroom enthusiasts.

We are still trying to tame the world of mushrooms and show it to you through our eyes. And our eyes (and our hearts 💖) are easily swayed by the kings of this kingdom. And how can you not be crazy about them when there are so many of them with the most fascinating features.

Our first acquaintance with mushrooms began as children, when our family would go out in the autumn to pick up bushels full of porcini mushrooms, chanterelles, or any other delicacies of the forest, and the mushroom sponges as we call it in Lithuania (a.k.a. polipores) would also catch our eye. But we didn't understand much about them then, except that they looked very otherworldly and amusing. But this story will not surprise anyone, as mushroom picking is quite a part of almost everyone's family in Lithuania.

The next journey to meet the special functional mushrooms started a bit later - 7/8 years ago. The first mushroom that came to our attention was the Chaga (Black Birch) mushroom, when we were looking for treatment alternatives after our dad's oncological illness. This was the beginning of a journey into the world of other mushrooms, which certainly doesn't stop at just porcini mushrooms with boiled potatoes (mmm... yummy), but can also be an essential source of health.

We founded Fungi Spells to shorten the search for others looking for the magic of mushrooms, and we have selected active and quality functional mushroom products.

We try to create an environment here that is friendly to mushrooms and people (you), where we share our discoveries about them and hope to infect you with some of the mushroom excitement too.
